Staying on Topic & Staying Involved in Conversations:
Remember when a certain topic is being talked about, it is important to stick to making comments or asking questions about that topic. When everyone in a conversation stays on topic, the conversation can move along easily and the other people in the conversation feel that you are interested.
When you do get your chance to speak it is important that you stay on topic so imagine that you are a racing car on a track and you have to stay on the racing track to stay on topic.
When it is your turn to talk remember to use a “conversation starter” and don’t “monologue” and most importantly of all stay on topic.
