About the  Language Development Through Play Webinar:

This one hour webinar will look at play as a medium for developing communication. Play is the work of the child and that play looks different for every child. There is no right way to play. Join Sarah in this discussion about meeting your child at the level they’re at and implementing communication strategies to these interactions.

This webinar will be presented by Sarah Kelly MSc, PGDip, BA Ed. Senior Speech and Language Therapist and Owner of SpeakEasy SLT.

About Sarah Kelly:

Sarah is a Senior Speech and Language Therapist and a registered member of CORU and Independent Speech-Language Therapists Ireland (ISTI).

Sarah has 16 years’ experience working with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties including children with Autism, Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability. She has worked in both community care and hospital settings holding a specialist post in early years. She delivers therapy in crèches, nurseries and schools and has provided effective training for staff and parents.

First and foremost, Sarah is a mum of two boys, Finn and Ollie. Ollie was born 9 weeks prematurely, so she has experienced first hand the emotion, stress and worry of a child being developmentally delayed. She can empathise and understand the impact this has on the whole family.
