We have developed a new online resource about Autism and Autism awareness for the Dept of Justice & Equality. The site is designed to inform people about autism and give a practical insight into how autism impacts a person with the condition.
The site is available for everyone to use and will be useful for parents, siblings, extended families, carers, Special Needs Assistants, Teachers and others working in the field of autism. It takes about 40 minutes to complete the 8 info…rmational modules.
The site also contains a Resource Centre with practical advise and presentations on autism. The site was funded by the Dept of Justice & Equality under the Disability Awareness Grant Scheme 2015.
