Given the current controversy and uncertainty in the charitable sector I feel that it is important to reassure our many client families, donors and corporate supporters about the management and governance of our organisation. This type of uncertainty can be hugely upsetting for the people who support or rely on charitable organisations and therefore it is important that I outline the governance and compliance procedures at Shine.
On behalf of myself and my fellow Directors I want to assure all of those people who support the Shine Centre that the Board of Directors place huge importance on the good governance of the organisation. We are fully compliant with all of the rules and regulations governing the charitable sector and we are fully up to date with our fillings to the Revenue Commissioners, CRO and the Charities Regulatory Authority. We are also subject to inspection from the TUSLA Early Childcare Inspectorate and the Department of Education & Skills all of which we have passed in 2015 and 2016.
On behalf of the Board of Irish Progressive Association for Autism Co Ltd/Shine Ireland
