Shine were delighted to be invited to meet the staff of Boston Scientific at their facility on the Model Farm Road in Cork. Shine were given the opportunity to talk to the staff about our services, programmes and our projects for next year as part of the Company’s engagement process to choose their charity for 2017.
We had a great day with all of the staff engaging with us and interested to learn about who we are and what we do for children and families affected by autism in Cork city and county.
Elvin the Elf also came with us and each staff member received an Elvin Elf to add to the Christmas Spirit. A huge thank you to the Boston Scientific Charity Committee and Susan Flynn from Boston Scientific who was so helpful on the day. Also a special thank you to Claudio Rachao for his fantastic support, Claudio works for Boston Scientific and was our proposer to become the 2017 Charity.
Boston Scientific’s Charity for 2017 will be chosen by their staff later in December. Thank you to everyone who took the time to talk to us : )
