Most of us have old mobile phones lying at the bottom of a drawer or gathering dust on a shelf somewhere. So why not put them to good use and donate them to the Shine Centre where we can use them to get iPads and laptops for use in our Centre. The majority of children with autism are visual learners and the addition of an iPad or Laptop can transform their learning experience.
So please don’t forget about your old phones and use them to help us provide vital technology for children with autism. We are happy to accept just one phone or many as each will make a difference. Why not have a day at work where you ask your colleagues to donate their old phones and we will pick them up from you.
Just 60 old or unused Smart Phones can provide an Ipad for the Early Learning Unit.
